Becky received a BA in Biology from Albion College (Michigan), a MS from the University of Cincinnati, and a PhD in Natural Resources from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Becky did her post-doctoral work at the Institute of Ecology (now Odum School of Ecology) at the University of Georgia.

Ayesha has been involved in the Rio Grande food web work with the Bixby group and Turner labs. She specializes in invertebrate ecology and stable isotopes.  As a native Australian, she has been teaching us colorful Aussie phrases like "chinwag."
